Production and Converting Characteristics

Our proprietary blend of internal and external additives provides an excellent printing surface, with high internal bond values for superior wet and dry ink pick strength. Exacting manufacturing controls are used to achieve a high level of dimensional stability. By minimizing hydro-expansivity and curl, precise registration is ensured. A combination of low pH, traditional rosin sizing, and internal sizing achieves a hard printing surface and excellent ink holdout. A blend of premium fibers generates greater internal strength to reduce processing difficulty and produce labels that cut cleanly and strip out well. Surface additives enhance surface strength through scuff resistance, wet rub, and high-wax pick qualities. Our sheet structure allows for proper penetration of glue so that labels will adhere properly, reducing the possibility of curling or flagging.
