ENVIRONMENT® Papers Eco-Trip for Two Contest

Sean Arian of Los Angeles is turning from hardworking entrepreneur with a passion for the environment to hardcore environmental adventurer thanks to winning Neenah Paper’s “Eco-Trip for Two” sweepstakes. Arian and his guest will experience conservation in the heart of nature’s most fragile environment as part of their all-expenses-paid* trip to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. The trip includes airfare, ground transportation, six days and five nights of accommodations at an ecologically friendlyresort as well as a guided day-trip to the Neenah Reforestation Project, a project in partnership with the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin and Friends of Osa.

In addition to the grand prize trip, Neenah also awarded three $100 gift certificates as secondary prizes to randomly selected participants who visited the website and answered five easy questions designed to test their knowledge of ENVIRONMENT Papers.

  • Kelly Mitchell, of Boise, Idaho, won a gift certificate to REI
  • Julius Williams, of West Orange, N.J., won a gift certificate to Keen Footwear
  • Prescott Perez-Fox, of Maplewood, N.J., won a gift certificate to Patagonia

ESSE® and OXFORD® Papers Clock Contest

First Place Winner: Kevin Brindley

Clock Name: Island Time

One part clock, one part shadow box... all Neenah Paper. Since we all daydream about vacation, the inspiration for this design stems from the question we ask ourselves over and over... "How much longer until vacation?" This 3D clock was constructed entirely from ESSE® Papers (Black, Sapphire, Cardinale, and Arancio - all texture), with a little bit of tape and a few dabs of glue. Here's to vacation starting soon...

Typographic sculpture constructed with OXFORD® Papers Blue Chip/Cream and Esse Arancio.

Third Place Winner: Alex Silva

Clock Name: Star Clock

I wanted to come-up with a desing that i would use myself. I can definitely see this design as the newest Neenah Paper iPhone & iPad App. I uploaded to my iPhone as screen saver and it looks great! I named it Star Clock because it has a Strar Trek feel to it.

Alex Silva Star Clock

Fourth Place Winner: Natalie Motoska

Clock Name: Urovni

The name "Urovni" means levels in Slovak. This clock plays with different levels of curves, paper height and light to create depth and interesting shapes among its surface.

Fifth Place Winner: Paul Claycomb

Clock Name: ESSE® Squared Clock
