Transparent inks
The first pass is a "footprint" of the complete image in cream ink. This provides an even surface for all subsequent passes, since inks behave differently directly on paper than on top of other ink. The cream silhouette helps with registration as subsequent passes are laid down.

The next five passes are relatively light, transparent colors that build on each other, resulting in shades that are harmonious and bloom-like. The final two passes are dark green and black. Contact information is printed on the reverse.
