ESSE® and OXFORD® Papers Clock Contest
First Place Winner: Kevin Brindley
Clock Name: Island Time
One part clock, one part shadow box... all Neenah Paper. Since we all daydream about vacation, the inspiration for this design stems from the question we ask ourselves over and over... "How much longer until vacation?" This 3D clock was constructed entirely from ESSE® Papers (Black, Sapphire, Cardinale, and Arancio - all texture), with a little bit of tape and a few dabs of glue. Here's to vacation starting soon...
Second Place Winner: Rima Bueno
Clock Name: Three Dimensions of Time
Typographic sculpture constructed with OXFORD® Papers Blue Chip/Cream and Esse Arancio.
Third Place Winner: Alex Silva
Clock Name: Star Clock
I wanted to come-up with a desing that i would use myself. I can definitely see this design as the newest Neenah Paper iPhone & iPad App. I uploaded to my iPhone as screen saver and it looks great! I named it Star Clock because it has a Strar Trek feel to it.
Fourth Place Winner: Natalie Motoska
Clock Name: Urovni
The name "Urovni" means levels in Slovak. This clock plays with different levels of curves, paper height and light to create depth and interesting shapes among its surface.
Fifth Place Winner: Paul Claycomb
Clock Name: ESSE® Squared Clock
ESSE® Papers mounted on black foam core, cut into various size squares and attached together using double stick foam tape.
